Von Ng was born in Manila, Philippines, and grew up in Los Angeles and Vancouver. He studied Architecture and Industrial Design, but eventually found his calling in painting. He has participated in both group shows and has had solo exhibits with Pablo Gallery, White Wall Gallery, ARIAS Art Space, Goethe-Institut Manila, Galerie Joaquin, and Blanc Art Space. Apart from painting, Von is heavily involved in martial arts and combat training, both as a professional instructor and as a practitioner on a lifelong path of learning. His art is informed by his training, and often reflects the various points of his martial journey. He is currently based in Beijing, China.
